No I'm not talking trash with the title where I'm going to set people straight on the culinary world. I'm serious. School is about to begin for me. I'm heading back to get a culinary arts degree over at Grossmont College. I'm going to be working here at the paper full-time and going to school on my days off. I'm excited just because I'm looking forward to learning how to make food. I've got so many ideas up in my noggin that I'm not sure how to translate to the table. I start classes next Tuesday. I'm going to be blogging and trying something new-er out. I want to do something similar to the show on the Food Network called "Ask Aida" I think it's called. I want you as Desert diners to ask me questions. And I'll try my darnedest to answer them in a quick, thorough way. I'm also looking to do some video with the new blog of me going through culinary school. Anything you'd like to see me work on like, how to sharpen a knife properly, how to make solid pita pizzas from scratch that will knock the socks off your family or just your friends. So start asking away with your comments or ideas to help me help you! I'm looking forward to this as well, helping people become better cooks. Who knows with all your help, questions and comments, I might be the next Food Network star. I look forward to hearing from you all.
