BEER VS. COFFEE

Almost every morning me and the boys (Soul, Rigo and Miza) have a text discussion.  Topics aren't always the same, they range from sports (obviously) to religion to food to whatever might pop into our heads that morning.

A few weeks ago, Miza brought up a question that I've been tossing around in my head since, If you had to pick only one between beer and coffee which would you pick? 

Before you respond think about it, really consider all the situations you find yourself in when you drink either tasty beverage.  Think about the best beer you've ever had.  Don't think about the first time you tasted it, because lets be honest, it's somewhat of an acquired taste. Think about a long hard day, what do you do to unwind?  Drink coffee? 

Now flip it, how do you start your day?  If you're not an alcoholic you probably drink coffee.  It's a good way to kick off the day right?  But if you're like me you, only drink it when it's cold.  I like coffee, I do, but rarely do I get happy over it.  And I'm not talking about those sugary almost undrinkable things you buy for over $5, how can you possible drink those things more than once a month?  I'm talking about a regular cup of joe, the kind you do at home, the kind you don't break the piggy on. 

So if you could only pick one which would it be: Beer or Coffee?  If you haven't  guessed by now I pick beer.  Hands down, no doubt about.

I'll honest. I loved beer, but I also became an alcoholic, so I don;t drink it anymore. I appreciated great, expensive beers, learned to really love the taste, and drank everything from lambics to lights. At the end, I no longer sipped or tasted it. I simply bought the largest quantities I could for the cheapest prices. 30 packs of Natural Light.
Now, I drink coffee constantly, and I love the taste of it with half a packet of splenda and half and half. I cannot stand disgusting coffee, but love a good bold. Sumatra, Gold Coast, the Christmas Blend, Komodo, those are the Starbucks darks I frequent whenever I get the opportunity.

I'd pick coffee. Easy for me because I only drink beer socially. A nice cup of fresh ground, fresh brewed Peet's coffee is mighty fine.

Since coffee is the worst tasting beverage on the planet and beer is great, I would say beer. Simple.

I love them both, but coffe is more healthier that beer, But I prefer beer over coffee.. :)
