CALEXICO --- A man suspected of fatally stabbing a 21-year-old man in the head during a birthday party last month was arrested over the weekend in Mexico, a police sergeant said Sunday.
Carlos Osuna, who had been ordered released from an Imperial County Superior Court judge on an aiding and abetting allegation, was arrested on Friday by a U.S. Marshal who turned the 23-year-old suspect to the custody of Calexico police, said Calexico Police Sgt. Shaun Sundahl.
Osuna fled south of the border upon his release, but a murder warrant had been issued during his departure, Sundahl said.
